Exile doin live edits in Pendulum's Lounge Room???!!!

Post by Dave_wratH »

Steve (Phylum) from PTA showed me a snippet of a video clip of exile doin live edits on a lappy, mouse and controller in pendulums lounge room, it wasn't high qual and bits were missing. I am just wondering if anyone has a link or a copy of it?

Lat time John B toured here (Melb) he said he would never ever come back. Somthing happened with a random punter i think that he wasnt to pleased about. Wonder if hes changed his mind...

I remember walking into soulaar one night expecting to pay $5 entry. Chick looks at me funny and goes fents its $15 tonight...Im like WTF? and she wispers...John B is here and hes gonna play. I couldnt get the money out fast enuff.

And luckily Juan 1LC played the recorded soulaar set on RRR one night so i gots it all on tape! Its a fucking wikkid set too. I reckon John B is rad his style is so devirse he can make a ball tearing dancefloor smasher (PRESSURE...TUNE!) or some crazy epic rave tunes...Up all night. Mad respect.

huzzah! im silly for john b as well. dude is always on point. can mix it up all diff styles and has a sense of humour. one of my nuts can join the pile as an offering to some pagan god to persuade him to tour here again.
surely he cant still be holding a grudge against melbs for the actions of one drugged out guy?
does anyone know what happened?

I have this awful feeling... was this when he was real nerdy? Man he used to be so geeky, he chased my sister and I around a club one night in Adelaide a few years back trying to take pictures of us and my sister dissed him bad. I hope that its not the related moment in question? oops.
Still he has bloomed to be a wonderful freak. I have always liked a man in eyeliner... hahahah

How many left nuts have you got man? I'm sure you have given quite a few away..

I've got some John B sets of when he played here in Pforzheim and Karslruhe, Germany earlier this year. Will palm them off to dudes that are interested. But they have to be really, really interested. Only because you won't get them until i get back! hahahahaha!!

I'm pretty sure John B's lack of enthusiasm to visit Australia again has something to do with visas and maybe food poision (drunk now so can't remember too correctly)...

Anyway, he posted sommit about it in his blog a whiles back.

I too would like to see him play, if only so I could get some makeup tips.

My mate Woz was trying to get the John B/Exile tour happening earlier this year and from what he told me john b is pissed at certain promoters around the country who apparantly fucked him around a bit.

Nice! Thankyou! :D

John B is THE reason I'm a dnb nut now. It was his music that made me really start listening to dnb, which in turn lead me to lots of great stuff that I'm still discovering every day.....but he's still my fave. I'd absolutely love to see him live.....his live dj sets are still the most fun sets I've heard in dnb.

Don't know about him coming down soon though..... he posted on DOA the other day that it would take a lot to get him to come back to Australia.... he said maybe next summer (as in end of next year...) ....maybe.... "but it's so far awaaayyyy"...

Fucking whinging pom.
