Here's some info about my new project. The first venture of Ghetto Arts and separate to my job at Miss Libertine as bookings manager. This is pretty exciting for me, so here;'s some hype for you guys about it. Ill be posting links to the artists websites over the coming weeks to entertain you



‘FOR WALLS’ GALLERY OPENS SOON

There is a unique space opening soon inside the venue of Miss Libertine, an iconic building in the Melbourne CBD that has been transformed from the city’s oldest coaching hotel into a vibrant restaurant and nightclub.

The For Walls Gallery is the brainchild of Bo Kitty. Miss Kitty is an artist in her own right who has curated many exhibitions worldwide, facilitating artists for companies such as K Swiss Shoes, General Pants and Cirque Du Soliel in the past.

The gallery caters to local artists and represents any style of art that is wall based, including photography, fine art, graffiti, light painting, sketches, life drawing, collage, mosaic, stencils, canvases, prints, design, and more.

On Wednesday June 30th the gallery opens its doors to a huge collection from some of Melbourne’s best and little known artists, including HAHA, Pheelix, Ghetto Kitty, Guz, Glyph, James Faust, Rachee Renee, Monkey, Rehgan De Mather, Nate Gamble, Joel K White, Nicole Tattersall, Mishap, Simz, Swap, Nemo, Mark Burban, Megan Dell, Yasemin Sabuncu, Melissajay Egan and more…Please join us from 6-8pm for some free drinks and nibbles.

FREE after party as part of the weekly hip hop night “Elements’ downstairs from 8pm featuring Total Eclipse (X Ecutioners NYC) DJ Peril, MZ Rizk and Zak Rampage with $10 jugs /$5 pizzas all night long!

hey liz - if there was ever a perfect time/place/space to do a MB photography show, this gallery is it!

artworks arriving now and im freaking out how to fit all this awesome stuff on the walls...when you have never hung in a space it can be really hard to work out what will fit etc!

hehehe already pondered that, glad you said it yays!

once crazy life stuff settles, will get on it.

for those budding photographers on here, def keep in mind and once i get myself sorted i will bug you lot

no rush babe, just very keen to support my networks and local artists....

this gallery is about catering to local Melbourne artists, well known or totally unkonwn, especially artists who cant afford or who dont get invited to exhibit at the elitist/high profile/massive commission/artwank galleries around town.

if any of you are collectors of art, you NEED to come to this first show.

Massive works, huge range of styles, and everything is priced too cheap in my opinion!

Next wednesday night, hope to see some of you down here.......

(especially peeps from all the gigs I go to to support hehehe)

so glad i'm not working so I can attend the opening, had a sneak peek yesterday and the artwork is really rad. can't wait to get a proper look!
