Juke/Footwork/Ghettotek who is feeling it?

Addison groove's set was half Juke, crowd seemed to love it.

I am a fan of most of it, some of it starts to hurt my brain after a bit but most of it i like. It kind of reminds me of Jungle with its franticness.

Thoughts?

its basic innit but I dig that - I can imagine it would work as an alternative to something half-stepping.

a lot of music is far too shiny and polished, I like how raw it is.

thanks for the links. I found it has a wiki entry too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juke_house

I like it, and Addison Grooves set was the highlight of last weekend for me. The rawness is great as it sounds fresh compared to so much of the overproduced stuff around these days. Like sameo said it's kinda got the ruffness and frantic beats that jungle has. That being said I don't know about a whole night dedicated to it, but that pretty much goes for any genre for me.

in small doses it's fun I think. Has to be in a club though, it needs that natural club reverberation and obviously subs to take off

Far to dry for me to listen to at home though generally, then to me it just sounds like someone has plugged a groove-box direct to the speakers, bunched in random patterns and called it a day.

Ramadanman's take is a little more creative to me, in both production and composition. I really like Work Them for instance.

footcrab can fuck off though imo :P

The woord 'Hate' when referring to sonic vibrations is hardly appropriate unless a politician is involved :tard:

I can get behind this.

Personally I'm a bit over the Funky and the brostep by now, so juke it up, I say.
