Need Help to find a good (Hard) Rock/Alternative Band !!

Hey Guys,
I am a girl from Germany and I don't really know the bands in Australia yet.
I want to give a friend concert tickets as a present but i have nooo Idea what
band to choose. She is listening to Rock, hardrock and alternative.
The Band has to play in VIC. ...
I would be soo thankful to get some Ideas as soon as possible!!
