Nah.. straight form a 4x4 beat into a broken one works best..
It takes a bloody great DJ to smash dubstep and Techno together. Only seen it work really well a few times.. When its in the hands of heavyweights.

A couple of locals are on the ball with it though. Could be an interesting concept for a night.

Sorry Dan, but you could give me $10 on entry and I still wouldn't make it. It's got nothing to do with cost or quality of event: I hardly go anywhere because I just can't do it. Whether it's age, or working too fucking much, or having to drive 3 kids to all their activities, I just don't come good for far too long.

Don't take it personally; I do recommend your events (and yours, too, kitty!) to anyone looking for a night out, but it's been a long time since I have been to a club, and I can't see myself going to one anytime soon. And I am regularly tempted by many of the parties (Technoir last week was very, very tempting) but when I think about having to be up at 8am the next (or should I say, same) morning to drop one of the boys to one of their activities, and the pain of the following week, I just lose all drive.

Dropped in for a few pre-drinks on our way to Roxanne's. Had an entourage of work mates who had never heard breaks before and they loved it. Apparently they spent the rest of the night there dancing the night away.
