Have played at many parties supporting international artists such as Bad Company, Kenny Ken, Dj Fierce, Blame, C4C, Shapeshifter and many more.
The tunes you can expect from this badman are late 90's/ early 00's d&b... Ram, Moving Shadow, Metalheadz, Full Cycle, Virus, Prototype etc
Fred did a d&b radio show on SYN FM called Big Up for about 5 years and has just returned home from a 5 year trip to UK & Europe...
CYPHER
Cypher has been playing on the drum n bass scene since 2001, starting in Brisbane alongside C:1 with the Fresh Cut crew. She performed with the Junglettes and Rude Bwoyz parties and featured regularly on the now defunct Original Drum radio show on 4zzz. In Melbourne, Cypher has brought her thick bouncy basslines to dance floors with Future Prospect and the Produkt team. After a recent break from the decks to play bass guitar with her band, Cypher is back in 2010 with new enthusiasm for the drum n bass sound.
LEX
Lex’s career started in the mid 90’s by Melbourne’s first weekly drum and bass and breaks night called Riddems at the legendary Big Bamboo night club.
After a good couple of years of this weekly session, which saw Adam Freeland tour Melbourne for the first time, he hooked up with Dj Ruxspin to start the realtime monthly parties.
For over 2 years these parties offered Melbourne exposure to the best local talent in the front room of Revolver to full capacity.
They were approached by the Lounge and asked to continue the legacy of the weekly Thursday night drum and bass sessions and 40hz was born.
This continued for over 2 years again providing Melbourne with quality drum and bass and acts such as EZ Rollers and Roni Size to name a few.
Soon the airwaves were also infiltrated with his sounds on the weekly Monday afternoon drive show Regeneration on Street FM and as a rotating guest on the infamous weekly Kombat Bass online show.
Lex was a regular at the pivotal Tekstep parties and supported acts such as Mickey Finn, Dylan, Limewax, Telemetrik, Bizzy B, Calyx, Dom and Roland, Matrix, Andy C, El Hornet from Pendulum, High Contrast and Doc Scott.
Lex has toured Ray Keith, Kenny Ken, Storm, Shimon, Adam F, Dj Hype, Black Sun Empire, Cause For Concern and Dj SS and played at some of the biggest parties such a Hardware Universe, Earthcore, 33/3 and Rainbow Serpent.
