As part of their 2012 takeover plans, the Uncomfortable Beats crew steps out on a weekend to the lovely surrounds of Loop on Friday the 10th of February. On showcase will be mind-bending live beats, which will express the diversity of sounds in local electronic music. To add to this special occasion it will be the release party for the Uncomfortable Beats compilation album #2 which will be available for sale on the night. This release will feature some of the best up and coming Australian based producers including, Ghostsoul, Able8, Electric Sea Spider, Amin Payne and Cazeaux O.S.L.O who will all be performing on the night, plus a whole lot more. Expect to hear the sounds of live Glitch-Hop and Wonky Hip-Hop, mixed with cosmic visual projections from back-to-back VJ's Chronic Sans and Justin. Best of all entry is free, so come down for an exciting night of fantastic tunes and good times.
ELECTRIC SEA SPIDER
ESS is a 21-year-old electronic/hip-hop producer, with a passion for silky basslines, obscure samples. Since the release of his debut beat-tape 'Mohican Beats' in late 2010, he has teamed up with up-and-coming Melbourne collective //This Thing//, gained strong support from the likes of Triple J, SYN FM and FBi Radio, and supported major electronic acts such as Flying Lotus, Mount Kimbie and Matthewdavid. Music and Madness go hand in hand for Ghostsoul on stage and off, with a unique style and flavor of hypnotizing melodies and rhythms. He has an ever developing style that crosses genres and takes it's form from Glitch, Dub and Hip-Hop. Ghostsoul will be playing a set of live and original beats from his 2011 EP “Broken Symmetry”and his up coming album through london based B-Label. AMIN PAYNE
Amin is a Producer/DJ/Engineer who is all about diggin' records. His recent Gill Scott Heron tribute release received much deserved worldwide acclaim and attention. With deep influence from artists such as J Dilla, you can expect some crunchy, dusty Hip-Hop infused with a modern synth flavor. Originally from New Zealand, Amin represents both countries well with his music. CAZEAUX O.S.L.O.
Jumping regularly between Melbourne and NYC, Californian native Cazeaux represents both Australia and America. Not only a skilled crafter of grooves, he is a renowned MC on the mic, rapping positive and conscious lyrics with deep meaning. Definitely a great addition to the Uncomfortable Beats line-up.

Uncomfortable Beats resident DJ ShiKung has built a tasty list of supports over his 7 year stint in Melbourne's club and bar scene. On top of this he runs "Glitch This!!" Club nights and radio show, which recently surpassed its 100th live-to-air broadcast. Fresh from playing Deliverance Festival he is back in Melbourne and pushing the best sounds in Glitch-Hop and all genres of Bass-Music.
