Express your interest here, and what area you can cover.
It is also hoped that we can have flyers ready for this weekend to give to anyone and everyone in the city and at gigs. So if you are out this weekend, it'd be great if you can pitch in!

I spoke to the good folk at Pole Position last night (they do a large majority of distro for agent mad, hardware and many many other companies).
They have said they'll include Beat Aid stuff in all their runs next week

I have a fair bit of room at my place, so I am hoping to have a collection point here for anyone who can get here. I am in Brunswick, the number 19 tram that heads down Elizabeth St stops outside my door. So I'll keep people updated once posters/flyers are sorted.

BRB, looks like a few people are meeting you today, so I'll wait til the next ones come out. South Yarra is a bit of a stretch for me today.
EDIT: I think I am reading posts that don't exist. Maybe i should think about sleeping...

Yeah same, most people seemed to be up for it.
I did have a couple of people ask for free tickets in exchange for donating wall/window space. =\ But overall the response was very good.

Got some up in Elizabeth St- E55, a 7/11 type place... one of the new ones, and JB Hi Fi took a couple of my big ones! YAY! They were going to say no, but the guy looked at the poster and went "hang on"... asked a manager... YES! I just happened to get the guy who knew who the acts were! He was asked "are these guys still in town?"
I then stuck a pile up around Sydney rd Brunswick, and in some of the shops....

Did sum shops in the city & Greville St today....Dangerfield stores, couple of cafes, Collectors corner, up round RMIT & some shops in melb. central. I ran out of posters cause I could only get my hands on a few so these stores/areas could do with a few more little flyers so I encourage anyone heading into the city re-visit/re-supply. The city/Melbourne central needs to be bombed with them!
Most stores in melb/central wont put up the big posters though but are pretty blown away with the line-up & the whole deal and are happy to help out & take flyers. Does anyone have any advice for everone on where the posters can/cannot be put up without getting into trouble?
Dangerfeild chicks give me the willies...

crossing my fingers that I'll have over 2000 A5 flyers on Monday, if not, Tuesday morning.
can anyone collect some and do the following areas:
Fitzroy St, Acland St and all the backpacker hostels
Chadstone
Southland
Brunswick St, Smith St etc
the City, including Southgate & Melbourne Central
Chapel St & Greville St
we won't really have enough flyers to do anywhere else

if you say so. my theory was that you have unpredictable sleeping patterns.
in most instances, you will still be up at 9 in the morning
