actually if I was to say anything useful I would add I'd like to see you delving into more 8bit stuff, which is pixelated tbh.
the resolution on that, at that size, is making me squint. Needs to be bigger innit. Scale is your thing Nic, you should try building physical models instead of rendering them. Sorry for the semi-serious crit.

Here's an example of what I do at work everyday. This is a brand I developed of discount homeware called Coco Chez. (ps. name was NOT my idea)
This is the packaging for a series of Scented Oil Burners. Its not as cool as space ships lol, but hey ho, it pays the bills.

Mandelbulb 3d is a 3-dimensional Mandelbrot creator and renderer - its free to download, very small and comes up with some fkn amazing stuff when you play around with it..especially when you pump up the numbers - that one took about 25mins to fully render and then i did all the building works and lighting/highlighting in photoshop.

Tattoo commission for my dear cousin..
Never attempted a freehand illustration piece of typography of such a long phrase before, let alone needing it to be good enough to etch forever into someones skin...Inspired by Alice in Wonderland I wanted it to look like the scribblings of the Mad Hatter.
