The word has sneaked out that there’s going to be some sort of mega-party happening on the 8th of October @ Brown Alley, and so being the fantastic, spunkalicious, awesome, well endowed, help a blind person across the road and save the world type peoples champions that we are - we thought we’d fill you in.............



Sat 8th of October see’s Brown Alley come alive, with Gimme a Break!, Sunny, and the new recovery party ‘Back-door’ all taking place through the course of the one night.
So this time around you not only get the rocking next-level sounds of Gimme, but also the fantasmical sounds of Melbourne’s longest running, and most esteemed party - Sunny, then more of the same with Backdoor running until 3pm Sunday afternoon.
No strangers to Sunny parties, the Gimme boys have played several, but this time around are honored to have their very own floor - and you can bet your mothers iron lung that they’ll be making the most of it!!

Even more exciting for Melbourne breakbeat, this Gimme/Sunny party is also the launch of www.breaks.com.au which is an awesome discussion and info website wholly devoted to Australian breakbeat.
The guys running the site have a strong love of breaks, and their hearts are in the right place when it comes to putting info out about the music we all live for. We urge you to get on the site, register, join in the discussion, promote your party, or just talk some utter cod-shit! Whatever floats your boat. There will be heaps of giveaways through the course of the night, so lets launch the site in proper Gimme ‘120% or nuthin’ style.

Yeah, pisses me off... kinda like when we played an 'adult film' on the projector at Prime Mover and just about every frigid mu'fucker in there (which apparently was almost everyone) decided to dash out the joint in embarassment (or perhaps they just went home 2 shag)...
either way, people weren't thinkin about the music sadly.... & that was at a dnb party, i imagine the breaks crowd might b even less receptive to a splattering of 'ard core rawno... pity that..... Yeah, I'm wondering about the whole state of the music business of late. I really do think it needs a bit of porn.
