Apparently they are here soon. Playing at the Corner.

Does anyone care?

Who's putting it on?

Are they playing d'n'b still or just commercial nonsense?

Anyone going?

Can someone get me a soda?

No way. Was uber disappointed with them the last time they came. Even 1Lc was pissed with them! During the gig I asked Steve if they were planning on playing any drum and bass, you know, the music that made them famous in Melbourne. He goes "I've asked! Maybe they'll listen to you, you go ask..." and starts pushing me towards the decks!!

Not doing that again

Taken from the official Kosheen website :

16/03/06 DJ / PA - Princess Of Wales, Melbourne, Australia

There ya go. I liked 'em even when they moved away from the DnB and more into the rock/downbeat territory...I always like bands/groups whatever once they have a certain sound, because they still carry they own sound/feel to any music they produce.

Kosheen's Hide You got me into drum and bass. I'd listened to dnb a million times but never heard it. Hide You did that for me.

Can you imagine how disappointed I was...

Most dissapointing outing ever. Even though the 'werd on the street' was that they were going to play prog and I kinda expected what happen too happen, their attitude sucked balls.

I think their website is actually wrong as all the press info says the gig is at The Corner, and if you go to the Corner website they're listed there with info on how to purchase tix as well.

More info here: http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.asp?ID=7603

Info I got said they'd be playing a unique blend of house electro and breaks.
Just because I rock, doesn't mean I'm made of stone.

I'm pretty sure the flyer said they'd be playing some dnb. I know there was a really good reason I was pissed they barely played any :?

I'm over it now.

hmm, thats funny, i walked past the corner today and it had them billed. Will credit Decoder with one of the best mixes released though, 21st century drum n bass, its got all the gems.

That's what's so darned disappointing. I've got some of the most blasting jungle by the Decoder of olde (namely "Home Boy?") and a couple nice Subtance tunes.

My question is, what happened??
