Manny's is pretty damn good!

Try Awave Camberwell.

You can find their contact no's in yellow pages...

i think cc's light and sound do some monitors... i think soundcorp does (they actually have some bm15a's -not bm5a- going for $4099 atm).
also try interstate, like turramurra, derringers, musiclab, brisound, vevlet systems etc... shipping is dirt cheap :)

i also think awave is good because the poeple there try to work out what you need, and not what they want to sell you .

I reckon this forum should start a sticky which has all the pro-audio places in AUS, unless it's been done ofcourse...

Manny's in St Georges Rd Fitroy kick some serios ass.
Great dedicated room for listening and trying everything out.
They have everything in their from Behrigher pieces of shit, to the newest Genelec, Yamaha and Tannoys.
Do what I did, and see if you can buy the display pair, and get them to knock a couple of hundred $$ off the price. 8)

I got my monitors at that south melbourne place. Use an ABn to get trade price, pay cash and wait until the end of financial year sale. I got mine for $1,000 less than retail price and they been one of the best investments I've ever made.
The best way to cure a broken heart is to give the pieces away
