wikkid to see some resistance to the seemingly endless exploitation of pop music markets by corporate greed.

so, technically he had to shoplift 500 CD's and swap them with his own

not a bad effort

I wonder what he'll do with the real ones.

Every one who gets a copy is the sort of person that would buy a Paris Hilton CD. what a waste

the side-joke joke is that those babies would prob sell for $$$$$$$$ on eBay, and the people that got them either threw them out or took them back to complain!

Not necessarily, he could have just put them in the store without taking the original cds.

I think that's his point, maybe a little bit of education- trying to make these people think about what they are doing.......

actually, there have been nearly no cases of any shoppers returning the cd's to the original shops

so yeah... $$$$$$'s

may the fight against celebs continue

Paris Hilton CD is in fact Danger Mouse.

Danger Mouse and Banksy are believed to have met whilst shopping for disguises in a Soho joke shop.

The only comment they have so far offered on their remix is "Its hard to improve on perfection, but we had to try."

TAKING THE MICKEY

Banksy, the British artist who doctored copies of Paris Hilton's album, has struck at Disneyland, where visitors were greeted by a life-sized doll clad in an orange jumpsuit with its hands and feet manacled. The prank was intended to call attention to the plight of terror suspects at Guantanamo Bay.

http://www.banksy.co.uk/shop/

Everything in the shop is free. All the images can be downloaded to print or use as a desktop.

Serving suggestion:
Prints look best when done on gloss paper using the company printer ink when everyone else is at lunch.
