no location yet announced.

What this means:
1. The Demands of the market are listened too
2.We may see BRB put on some weight.
3. There is now nothing left is Sydney that I would like in Melbourne.

Not only are they are restaurant totally dedicated to donuts and the alike, they add an extra layer of 'frosting' around the entire donut, despite any icing already on the top.

I had Krispy Kreme in America. A friend was driving and refused to get up and walk in the store. We sat in the drive thru behind 20 other cars to get one of the most unheathiest snacks I have ever seen. You can't beat that!

yo voodoo child- too long, lets have lunch brother.

Paper says they are based in dandy, but i doubt that would be the flagship melbourne store.

im not really into donuts, or sweet food in general, but fuck krispy kremes are addictive. i dont know what it is about them..

dandenong is the perfect place for their "flagship".

ive heard whispers that Krispy Kreme is in some financial trouble in sydney though - probably has a Boost Juice-like business cycle. Half the appeal is that you can't get them in melbourne at the moment, probably.

hiya d-boy :) ... yeah mate. PM me your email and we'll take it from there ;)

re KK location, someone just told me their first location in NSW was in Penrith. So they don't always for the CBD first. They're very specific about their demographic location, so Dandenong may be it, who knows *shrugs*

I propose a MB.C meetup at Krispy Kreme on the day it opens in Melbourne.

Have you guys ever been to Penrith? I have. Those Penrith people definitely don't look like the doughnut type to me.

initial store for training will be in dandenong

it's hilarious driving into sydney airport and seeing the queue of cars at the krispy kreme stocking up for the flight - and then going into the terminal and seeing a mini krispy kreme vendor!

"Avoid the Queue! Have your doughnuts delivered. Sydney CBD - Free Delivery." :!:

Here's hoping they deliver for free in Melb. =)

:smt044 GOLD!!

(this is the best news I've had all year!! (how sad is that :( )

btw - It's not the Sydney Stores that are in financial trouble (they're killing it) it's actually the American stores

Bit of inside info, Krispy Kreme have been negotiating with us to take a pad site in Keysborough, this will be much like a family restaurant in the Macca's/Hungry Jacks style.

I'll keep the MB possie up to speed on opening dates/details when I know more.

I'm sure i can hook up some product samples as well...

Me and a mate had a 21 piece bucket throwdown on a tram, and the commuters were putting bets on which one of us were gonna throw up first!

ha ha
outer eastern suburbs represent.

for those doubting why they would set up in dandy/narre warren/FG type area - the demographics there are about as close to your average ricki lake guest as you can get in victoria. (i.e women the size of trucks, guys who drive trucks, and the only trousers they own have elastic waists.)

but still, whats in em is gross!

Before rowing on saturday mornings I used to make the donuts at like 5 in the morning, then I would ice them and dip them into sprinkles. yay!

And then I had to make a giant donut cake which was about $15 and fill it with cream.

The smell of cinnamon takes me right back!

i used to think because Fountain Gate was in Kath n Kim that it was a fictional place. I cant believe it is real.

i wouldnt be surprised if donuts gave you cancer (probably of the bowel - no fibre in them!)
