Brownlow tonight - your tips

all mb football fans - who do you think will win the Brownlow?

I put down a few bets (my once a year gambling indulgence) at the TAB and like these 5 people for the top 3 (hit and miss strategy I know)

Goodes (paying $1.40 for top 3)
Judd ($paying 2.12 for top 3)
Dal Santo (paying $7.25 for top 3)
Pavlich (paying $8.50 for top 3)
Sam Mitchell (paying $32.50 for top 3)

No pies in my bets - but they didn't have a dominant votegetter all year.

Oh how I wish for the day Didak stands up and gets a Bronlow. It will probably never happen but fuck I think he deserves one. just so freakin exciting to watch.

Bronlow is always like the Melbourne Cup. Never the favourite.

ahem....Shane Crawford in 1999 ( i think) was an unbackable favourite, ended up winning it with 3 or four rounds left to count

Also may I state for the record that the Brownlow Medal is without doubt the most boring event and or piece of television ever devised in the history of mankind.

The only thing worse to watch than asking footballers questions on camera is asking footballers questions after they've stepped out of a limo with some slunt on their arm, followed by a bunch of guys reading numbers out of envelopes, and a bunch of other guys making comments about those numbers.

mind shatteringly dull.

I disagree man!! I guess i love my footy so its good to look back at every game to see how the season panned out. Then again i also watch golf so that mite be just me!!!!

The Brownlow IS the most boring television event of the year, but I just can't stop myself from watching it.

Always funny to hear the mumble of everyone talking at the start of the night progress to out and out rowdiness at the end of preceedings!

i got a spreadsheet emailed to me at work with the stats from every game and shit. some educated guessing there. had the top 10. will see if it was right!
