incidentially, does the empath have split cue? beautiful mixer if you have time to get to know it Sure does... Been looking at that one ;) lack of in-built effects unit is... eh? Its said to have a 'fully-sick' effects loop so I suppose its not a big deal. But the Urei 1603 is still very compelling...

Lachie, the fader selects which channel you want to have cued, All the way to the left will have Channel 1 and all the way to the right you will have channel 2. Anywhere inbetween, will have a combination of both. You following ? The split cue i believe is activated when you then select the cue but...

What I want is to hear the Master in one ear and the Cue in the other, simultaneously...
