Howdy people,
Just a quick sticky to let you all know that DMC now has a stack of the Beat.Aid CD's for sale, all proceeds still going to the Red Cross of course. There has been so much excellent feedback from the stellar Melbourne only composition, so don't miss out and buy some for your friends and family to help support Red Cross and Melbourne's talent.
Peace,
Lynt.

I've got a bunch of people requesting the CD through private messaging on ITM etc, they are all from interstate.
Is it safe to send them my account details to put money in?

if the amount is under $3,000 (), then it's about 3.9%.

you will have to upgrade your PayPal account to "merchant" class if you want to accept credit card payments as well, so make sure they send the money via their bank account.

Did anyone else hear that Dance against the wave rave at QBH on Saturady night only raised $3000? I think its fitting that the smaller scenes managed to raise more money, no disrepsect to Oracle Events, you all should be proud!

Yep. They should definitely be proud. Every little bit helps I reckon. $3k is still a lot of money (to me anyway).
They seem pretty disappointed with how the whole thing went, but I still applaud them for their efforts.

ummm
last time I checked it wasn't a competition as to who could raise more for charity
well done to Dance Against the Wave and I'm sorry it wasn't as successful as they had hoped. Personally I would've liked to see them raise the $50k they'd hoped for.
