i wouldn't worry about it... studio mixes are made to be with home court advantage. dun matter if you can't change records in eight seconds flat in the dark. as long as it sounds good and you're havin fun.

will d/l now and give it a bash tomorrow. ;)

yeah dude my other bit of advice would be to never take ANYTHING written on a forum board to seriously. ;)

Had a listen, good progression though the mix; funky-->deep liquid-->heavy rollers. The piano start thing was pretty cool as well, something different to grab your attention 8)

For me, the set was peaking at Young AX - January, I reckon that it would be better if you held the peak out for longer, instead of dropping a notch to 'feel the sunset',...although it is a mad tune, you need to hold out the peak for longer after such a good steady build up. But yeah, thats just my opinion.

Apart from that its a strong mix, really diggin the deeper liquid styles and the rolling basslines, keep it up

Cool intro! Ragtime stylee...

I reckon Scholtzy is right about the mix peaking at January. Maybe that was ur plan though: build us up then chill us out with smoothness.

22. Champagne - Helsinki Jazz (Pivotal)
23. Greenfly - Blue Corvette (GLR)

Oh man, I forgot about those tunes. Gems indeed. Natural High on the flip to champagne is awesome too.
