Logic Automation

Do any Logic heads out there know how to automate effects that are in the Bus channels?

^heh yeh i can assist. which version you in?

it's pretty simple. Just create the buss channel that you want to automate in the arrange. you can do this from the drop down "track" menu or by selecting any trk in the arrange and hold your mouse on it till menu appears ie: audio intrument, audio track etc.. and select the coresponding bus. then just enable your automation (think the default shortcut is V)..

its also just as easy as selecting auto touch, latch or write, press play and automate ur movements, especially if u have outboard rotarty knobs. u can just click apple L (learn) and twist whichever knob u want to use to automate.

Cheers guys. Will give it a go tonight.

I'm actually using Logic 5.5, however will be doing the pc to mac upgrade in the near future to allow Logic 7.

it will be slightly different in 5.5 ... the menu's are all quite different but see how you go.
