I wanna see Steven Wright but...
A) I don't think I can afford it
B) I think it's sold out
I think I am, Therefore I am. I think

Want to go but haven't decided on who, as yet.
Saw Ross Noble a couple of years ago, and the guy is crazy funny. Daniel Kitson is also brilliant, but Steven Wright is the king.
Have heard good things about Demitri Martin, so I may give him a go this year.

I saw Arj Barker and Sean Lock on Sunday.
Both were H I L A R I O U S! Arj's best show I have seen yet. He still uses some of the same jokes though, which annoys me 'cos he doesn't need to.
FYI for cheap tickets check Halftix (near the Town Hall, Swanston St entrance). Plus there are specials on most comedy festival shows on Tightarse Tuesdays.

Cried myself to sleep last night with the knowledge that neither this, nor any other comedy festival ever, will ever play host to that genius Bill Hicks.
So much RAGE.
On the other hand, I'm hanging to see Bill Bailey. Couldn't get enuff of him on Black Books.

Hicks was here at the '93 comedy festival. If only I'd known about him then. He doesn't seem to do many shows these days
Daniel Kitson for me too this year

I saw Tripod - Lady Robots v1.1 on the weekend. Very funny, there's heaps of nerd humour in it. They also swear more on stage that on Rove-dominated television.
Only $25, went for about 70 minutes, recommend it!

I'm biased, as a relative is doing Danny Bhoy and Bill Bailey.
Ross Noble and Daniel Kitson are always a cack though!

Arj barker, i ain't sure he's that funny. he tries hard but he misses the mark for me. Daniel Kitson is good, he's like an old friend who makes an annual visit. got tickets for Gamarjabart. Danny Bhoy was good at the gala, as was that Dimitri guy, definitely getting tix for those shows...

Hahahah I made the stupid mistake of taking my girlfriend (who's German, she has trouble with fast English) to see Daniel Kitson, she lost him in the first sentence and from then on it was *jab jab* *whisper* "I don't understand him." ... *jab jab* *whisper* "What did he just say? Why is he making funny hand gestures like that?"
