i see snakes at least 3 or 4 times a week
they don't wanna hurt you
browns are real timid particularly
just take a moment to think about where they would hang out and if you're somewhere like that be a little cautious.
but if you're on hallucinogenics and wanna play with the cute little taipan ya fucked aren't ya
seeing as i just had to do the training for it all again recently
first, dont panic because that will speed up your heart rate and aid the spread of the poison
if you get bitten isolate the area as best you can, some kind of tourniquet, a really tight bandage just toward the body from the limb or even a belt done up really tight.
never wash the leg or arm, the remaining poison on the skin surface can aid the identification of the snake and therefore speed up the cure
get to hospital as quickly as safely possible
same applies for spider bites except for redbacks where you apply ice to the bite as well
but dun worry they're just snakes and we all gotta share this planet, don't chop their heads off
edit:: hmmm that artice said to stay still. i forgot you're probably in the city and an ambulance can get there in no time. probably a much better idea

Mozzies kill millions each year.
Box jellyfish are the most venomous animals on the planet.
Go Team Invertebrate
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

I took on a mozzie last night. Tried to go to bed early so I could wake in time for a rare sunrise, pretty gay yes. Well every time I turned off the lights within a minute or two I'd hear that terrible mosquito wing sound. Quickly turn on the lights, looked for it, couldn't find it. Lights out... same thing. Tried "sleeping" with the lights on to find it, didn't work. After about 2 hours of this bullshit, at one point nearly finding and extinguishing it, I gave up, took my bed sheet to my living room and slept on the futon.
meanwhile the mosquito had my bedroom and my nice bed all to itself, and I woke up close to 10am feeling sore and unwell, missing the gay old sunrise and about an hour or two of paid work.
Bastard mosquito. And those fucking spiders - do your jobs!

Sounds like you need some window netting or flyscreens or something. Get to the root of the problem.
I hate mozzies. They ruin my summer . We get big fat ones where I live and they leave massive welts on me...bigger than this one but it was the only pic I could find
Actually, that bite looks like a reflected map of Australia
