He was in the best part of Pulp Fiction; he returns the watch to Butch, and starts talking Wigga stylez.. "I carried this uncomfortable hunk of gold up my ass for 2 years... ain't no gook gonna steal yo' birthright..."

Probably completely mis-quoted, but that man is my god. A cool old white guy. There aren't many of those around.

Top 5 cool old white guys:

-David Bowie

Yep, he played Bruce Willis's dad, talking about keeping his Granfathers pocket watch up his ass for years and years.

He kicked ass in True Romance too.

"There are 17 signs that a man is lying to you...more for women, but men have 17..."
He's absolutely GOLD in Welcome to the Jungle... And who could forget 'King of New York'.

Special mentions for the Saturday Day Night Live 'Cowbell skit'...

 but its Tim Burton. I am in fucking awe of that dude. Imagination like a kid, awesome stuff. But yeah i guess Walken didn't have the best part, but fuck he looked scary so i give him props for that....and the make-up artist.

The Mad Caddies supported Royal Crown Revue a little while back. Man that was an awesome show. Mad Caddies singer had just gotten out of hospital that afternoon with mad back injuries. Apparently in the hospital he was all like "I got a show to do, just dose me up and discharge me. I'll be back after". Standing still he still managed to rock the show. You could see him reigning himself in everytime there was a point in a track where he would normally jump around.

was that rcr show the one where they limited the number of tickets sold so there would be enough room for people to swing dance?

yeh thinking back mad caddies werent supporting.
i just wasnt sure cause i was rather drunken when i saw them.
i cant remember what venue i saw them at but as i said they had limited the number of tickets so people could dance and there were heaps of couples busting out crazy swing moves during their set and it was amazing.

and lizkins: dont get me wrong i did like the movie and its still better than most but i remember being so amped for it at the time and when i actually saw it i was kinda disappointed.
johnnys english accent needed work, like in from hell.
christopher walken was on point though. best part of that movie apart from christina ricci in a bodice

have you seen suicide kings? out of all the movies he's done its easily one of the best. and jay mohr is great in it as well, hell all the actors are kicking ass. its also got dennis leary in it and hes on fire! ranting about everything.

cause this is a top 5 thread

top 5 movies with a boston/mass. connection

1. suicide kings (dennis leary)
2. good will hunting
3. boondock saints
4. thomas crown affair (1968 version)
5. amistad

has anyone heard anything about boondock saints 2?

Yeah all true. Still love it though. Watched the making of it and Tim Burton was cacking himself when Depp had to cut the tree and got blood all over him. they deliberately kept squirting more at his face just for the amusement  me found funny

Top 5 light bulb jokes EVER

- How many Marxists does it take to change a light bulb
- None, the seeds of revolution and change are within the lightbulb itself

- How many Chiropractors does it take to change a light bulb
- Just one but it takes 30 visits

- How many Christian Fundamentalists does it take to change a lightbulb
- The bible doesn't mention lightbulbs

- How many Test Analysts does it take to change a lightbulb
- We just noticed it was dark, we don't actually fix the problem

and my personal fave

- How many Lawyers does it take to change a lightbulb
- Whereas the party of the first part, also known as "Lawyer," and the party of the second part, also known as "Light Bulb," do hereby and forthwith agree to a transaction wherein the party of the second part (Light Bulb) shall be removed from the current position as a result of failure to perform previously agreed upon duties, i.e. the lighting, elucidation, and otherwise illumination of the area ranging from the front (north) door, through the entryway, terminating at an area just inside the primary living area, demarcated by the beginning of the carpet, any spillover illumination being at the option of the party of the second part (Light Bulb) and not required by the aforementioned agreement between the parties.

The aforementioned removal transaction shall include, but not be limited to, the following steps:

The party of the first part (Lawyer) shall, with or without elevation at his option, by means of a chair, stepstool, ladder or any other means of elevation, grasp the party of the second part (Light Bulb) and rotate the party of the second part (Light Bulb) in a counter-clockwise direction, this point being non-negotiable.

Upon reaching a point where the party of the second part (Light Bulb) becomes separated from the party of the third part ("Receptacle"), the party of the first part (Lawyer) shall have the option of disposing of the party of the second part (Light Bulb) in a manner consistent with all applicable state, local and federal statutes.

Once separation and disposal have been achieved, the party of the first part (Lawyer) shall have the option of beginning installation of the party of the fourth part ("New Light Bulb"). This installation shall occur in a manner consistent with the reverse of the procedures described in step one of this self-same document, being careful to note that the rotation should occur in a clockwise direction, this point also being non-negotiable.
Note: The above described steps may be performed, at the option of the party of the first part (Lawyer), by any or all persons authorized by him, the objective being to produce the most possible revenue for the party of the fifth part, also known as "The Firm."

Top 5 reasons why I love Melbourne Beats and cant seem to leave even when I have no time to be here...

1. A great place for likeminded people to discuss relevant topics that I'm interested in.
2. A promotional tool for promoters, DJ's and the like...including myself.
3. A great time waster when I'm supposed to be working...shame on me.
4. Always something on here that makes me smile or laugh...that has to count for something.
5. It's not ITM.

Enough with all this bitching lately. Been more locks than a prison and seriously, some of you are pushing it for what looks like no apparent reason than you're bored. Are your lives that uneventful that you consistently push the envelope on an electronic music forum that represents a small percentage of this scene just for the sake of it?

Get over yourselves...IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

Go outside, spin a record, play with your kids, cook dinner, read a book, watch a movie, build a model airplane, take out the garbage, have sex, write your life story, whatever...

Can we go back to talking positively about this scene and the music we all love? I know there's going to be negativity at some points, but discuss them like adults. PLEASE!!!

For the record, for those that may remember the Say What thread a while back (the house thread). I was Enrique Sanchez for those that didn't know, I got pissed that the thread was locked when we were just having a laugh and I left this forum because of it. I didn't come in here and spread negativity on all of you, cuz it wasn't my place to do that to this forum. What LC, Lynt and the rest have done with this forum is spectacular. Cut them some slack and follow the fricken rules. It's not hard to do...we're all adults. If you dont like the rules...LEAVE!!! That's what I did, but I couldn't stay away forever. I love this place and all this negative BS is lame. PLEASE STOP!!!

Top 5 ways to get better teeth by creating situations at the Churchill Pub on christmas eve that will result in non elective dental surgey.

1 - Have an unfamiliar face. I don't know anyone down there anymore really, but I don't get punched on Christmas eve because most people have a vague recollection of me from their childhood (don't we all). If possible fake an accent.

2 - Hate on Barnsey. When Khe Sahn comes across the jukebox and all the blokes but their arms around each others shoulders and start signing loudly, stand on your chair and loudly declare that Cold Chisel have contributed nothing to australian culture and that anyone that likes this song is ghey

3 - Casually mention to anyone that will listen that its not suprising that the Churchill reserves haven't won the past couple of years because the side lacks any commitment and leadership.

4 - Stand in Jacks corner. NO ONE is allowed to stand in Jacks corner, doing so will win you an instant trip to the ER.

5 - Wear a Green Peace t-shirt and force your way onto the karaoke stage and start reading aloud from a sheet that details the sum yearly carbon emissions for Loy Yang, Hazelwood, and Yallourn power stations. Conclude by declaring to all that coal fired power stations are a cancer of the earth and that they must go.
