Imma juggling it. Imma tossing it up and putting it down, bringing it round. Spinning it on a dime, right on time. Cause without the beat I would heart would skip and I would be entered into delete. Sheeeeeeeet. Thank God for the beat. It started back at the big bamboo, came right through. I heard the thump and moved my bump. I had to get some more. Thank god for the beat. Over the years it has saved me more than once. That escape. Front right or left, just right up close, hoody on. Speaker done some damage to my hearing – we know this for sure. What? That’s right, I went there, I can’t hear you, cause I gone to long sitting on the sub. Every weekend for a decade they say, maybe more, maybe I missed a day. Hell, I miss that. But my body got sore. Thump. Bring on the headphones and decadence at home. Bring on the family and time to tame that new beast inside. Time to pass on the learning of the life in the beat. Cause it is rhythm and rhyme, it is captivating and mine. It is a way of life, plenty of strife, but so much surreal, the only way with this life that I can deal. Reality is such a stretch, the hectic nature of the beast such a pest. But when that beat does come, you know where you could find me. Loosing my care, loosing my control, just letting the beat drive me. Hide me. Behind me, but my love with stay with me, die with me, inside me. Love of the beat. Contrived? Well, not for me – cause it’ll be true through and through. Sub. Thump. Shuffle my way, since back in the day, to any beat. King of the floor on the breaks ya know against me now cat could score. DnB steppin’ – reppin’ still wrecking the back of the room with my terror. Know to many cats to be able to not chat most the night. Fuck it, ill step out in disguise so I don’t have to worry. Scene? Fukit – I stopped promoting low level back in 2000. Never played a gig with a floor – simply chill out my artistic style for ever more. But you know – the dance always been where it at – front to back. Hands in the air – supply with me with more. Cause the beat always going to come on back with the high score. Ahhhhhhhhhh. For the love of it….

Bleeding soft love. Felt.
Mills & Boon for the gay market?

Wow, amazing weekend.

I had no idea Sydney was so into Dubstep tho. The deeper and the more womwomwomwom it got, the more people loved on it.

I hear ya. sooooooo good.

As an album it reminds me of T-Power and they way he would do full length stuff. Such a good mix of beats, dancefloor, lyrical stuff. (although different styles its the album as how I feel have comparrisons) Different paces, different moods - yet, somehow such a gritty overarching filth vibe to the whole thing. Always loved Perez's lofi(hifi)lofi vibe. This is so fuking city to me. All City! Pounding the pavement HD-25's on. Watching life in movie mood.
Grey. Hoodies. Nighttime. Smoke. Crime. Yet a sense of jazz, a beauty that is compelling and haunting. Yank me.

Love that album
Long Time Dead actually. ( http://forum.melbournebeats.com/viewtop ... the+decade )

I was just a bit excited this morning eh. Long Time Dead was def. T-Powers more breaks stuff - but the album as a whole loved me. It's movement and texture. That is what I love about 1984. While none of the tracks may end up in my top 10's list, the album as a whole moves. I don't really dig much dubstep for headphone bizness, but in the conext of this album, it works. violins.

This morning it's Breakage.

Image

So he talking to the shrimps eh? Bit of the old babble babble with dem fishes. Maniac soundkiller machine. Der goes dem bubble?

Sweet jungle tear me a new one.

May not have the flow of 1984, more held together as a album with interludes like some scratch dj's first production album. But sheeeeeeeet, don't matter when you got the tunes and vocal guests to keep me waiting for each next.

Ripped. Serious bass. No regrets. Breakage holds nothing back. Rocking the foundations ten floors below.

On the mic, his 3000 friends are telling it like it is.

Blown glass holographs’ highlight the riddims, deep inside this jungle. Such raw influence from the good old days. Bring digital influence and mad breakdown and slam. Breakage just brought the fire.

Yummy.

Sweet serinade of soul over your bad temper bass, sweet song of sugar ballad over the wobble wobble bounce.

Feels good to me.

Such good tunes around at the moment. Feed me.
