Twisted Audio has teamed up with some of Australia’s best Drum & Bass acts to bring you an exclusive DJ mix competition!!
Twisted Audio was founded on a love of good music, and that’s what we’ve strived to give you ever since. This year alone we have been lucky enough to host such greats as Aphrodite, Xample & Lomax, Total Science, Drumsound & Basslinesmith, Chris Su and B Complex + a new monthly night dedicated to showcasing the best in local talent…now it’s your turn as we take the search nation wide!!
How to enter:
Lay down a mix no more than 20-30mins long containing your favourite tunes.
Upload your mix to our Soundcloud.com account (http://soundcloud.com/twisted-audio-1) or send us a link at [email protected]
There will be two rounds of judging; the first round closes on the 5th of December with the qualifying mixes proceeding to the final round with the winner announced on the 7th of December.
Judging Criteria:
The first round will be judged by Twisted Audio regulars Monkee and Lickweed – a selection of our favourite mixes will go through to the final!
The second round of judging will be based on a combination the following criteria: originality, selection, depth, creativity, and musicality.
The winner will be chosen by our panel of esteemed judges: Shockone, Phetsta, Q-Bik & Cubist
Prizes:
The winner of the nation wide comp will land a set at our next stomping party featuring Hospital Records superstar...Cyantific plus support from Australian heavyweights Shockone & Phetsta! All flights, food and accommodation included + the chance to play at one of our biggest parties ever!!
