Homegrown FreQs – The National DnB Mix Competition!
Twisted Audio has teamed up with Australia’s biggest Drum n Bass crews to bring you an annual, nationwide mix competition to help uncover the best underground talent down under!!
After the success of last years online National mix comp we’ve decided to include LIVE regional heats in all major capitals.
This will give competitors the chance to prove their skills not only in the bedroom but also in the BIG room!
It’s been a long few months for all the competitors nation wide nd now the time has come to crown one of them as the 2011 Homegrown FreQ !
The 6 finalists, 1 from each state, will perform LIVE at Miss Libertine in Melbourne. Each entrant will have 25 minutes to put down the best set they can.
Judging criteria will be based on creativity, musicality, depth, technical skill and overall performance by a select panel of experts.

For the winner:
The winner of the Melbourne Heat will go on to compete in the Homegrown FreQs National Final which will be held on November 19th in Melbourne and a chance to win:

- Exclusive Dubplates from Cue Recordings – Australia’s leading Drum n Bass record label
