Gripe thread

stories i like them
Re: Gripe thread
Maaaan! I feel that. I have super smooth skin everywhere on my face, except where the fucking pimples are at. Mainly the chin area cause I lean a lot. Have to stop putting my hands on my facials Do you touch your face a lot during the day? I don't mind doing it if my hands are clean but if I've run them through my hair I'm not happy transferring hair product to my skin.mrj wrote:i'm so over pimples. a decade and a half after puberty and they just keep rolling.
aren't they supposed to stop at some point. whats the bet I end up the only person in my nursing home who has em.
Quick, I'll be sending you a resume I think. I wanna be like Mike happy and making money.
Had more issues at work today. They told us they were buying in hundreds of Eboxes so on their instruction I went and pre-sold a lot of them...my first real sales at this place. Then tonight I'm told we won't be buying them in. Have to cancel all the orders and look like a fucking dick to my clients. If I wasn't such a logical person I'd assume it was (listen all a y'all this is) sabotage.
Makes the day interesting lol have to laugh ay *shrug*

I wish, its my big toe, i can barely walk. Looked it up on the internet self diagnosis style and unfortunately its ticking all the boxes to say its broken and will take 5-6 weeks to heal. Finals for basketball start in 4 weeks too so i have to rest it to make sure im right for that.DBoy wrote:tape it up! be a man!

Trust me, one of my best mates has broken her foot 3 times in the last 2 years because of this.almax wrote:I wish, its my big toe, i can barely walk. Re: Gripe thread
Al, you got 3 weeks to rest. We'll roll the last 2 teams...easy! Plus, our bye week next week. Can't imagine playing without ya. That'd be like Richmond playing without Ben Cousins.
Re: Gripe thread
First game of the finals will be on the 26th March so ive got 27 days till then, basically 4 weeks.

Being given 5 weeks (as earned) annual leave for Jan in July, and as they decided to give someone else the same leave, having it thrown in my face and being expected to do overtime all time.
WTF? I earned the leave, as we do, and you authorised me to take it? whats the problem? Not my fault you fucked up by giving it too 2 people at the same time and others are shit at their job!
Eat it.

I guess that must be what happens with a company that has in the past year received $180 billion from the governmentLil MiSbreaks wrote:Being given 5 weeks (as earned) annual leave for Jan in July, and as they decided to give someone else the same leave, having it thrown in my face and being expected to do overtime all time.

Re: Gripe thread
do your research Al
the American bailout has NOTHING to do with the Australian office or any of their divisions
and I'd be struggling to find a link between a multi billion dollar bailout (on the other side of the world) & a managers decision to give annual leave to two people in the same dept at teh same time

Re: Gripe thread
yeah fair enough, no direct correlation to overtime and what not, it was just in the papers today. But id still say the pressure must be getting to the managers and it would all trickle down. $180 billion is alot of bailout, must mean the company is in some deep shit, American or Australian branch, still all connected somewhere.

Hey i never said it was directly related to your overtime, i said that i guessed or perhaps a better word would have been wondered, whether "that must be what happens with a company that has in the past year received $180 billion from the government"
of course you are allowed to gripe, wtf?Lil MiSbreaks wrote: And no, my manager is an idiot, Im not allowed to gripe?
maybe i should have just asked
"hey Sammy, are your managers being pricks because they are under stress/pressure from above with all this money they are losing?"
sheesh
