Gotye @ Prince feb 21st

Post by ghetto kitty »

i was in the sheep paddock that is rainbow serpent,
eating yogurt and rolling a spliff and contemplating another dancefloor mission...

and i heard gotye coming from a car stereo.

i stayed at camp alone for the whole album, and realised he is one of my favorite musicians at the moment.

so, anyone up for his solo show at the prince?

he had the band at hot BBq, full horn section and trumpets etc, but the man was on drums and there was times when it was only him, and i swear they were the best moments.
solo will be great.
and i love the prince for intimate gigs...

well lets do eet witty and will!!!

and BS can sit on his couch and miss out.

I certainly am! IMO he's australia's most talented and exciting producer at the moment. Such quality tunes and a great performer live!

Yeah, he's dope. Album rules. I'm getting tackled with gigs we gotta attend at the moment:

1. Gotye
2. G Love w/ Ozomatli
3. Bunny Wailer w/ Beduion Soundclash

We need a permanent baby sitter.

Theres lots of interesting stuff on you tube of how Gotye has recorded his tracks.

V interesting. He made his own recording studio booth for vocals in his room by sticking three matresses together, then cutting a bit out of the middle, then just hopping in and recording his vocals in there.
