Subvert Central Mastering

I highly endorse the work of these two gentlemen here.

Ben Subvert

Ben Subvert has been involved with independent music for many years.
He began producing and mixing in 1992, and after co-running the drum and bass labels Streetbeats, NOIR and Pi, he now runs the UK Hip Hop label, Pepa Records, along with founder DJ Juice. Over the years he has played guitar in several bands, as well as keyboards in the drum and bass band, Ultra-Violet.

In 2001, Ben set up Subversion Studios, a small, flexible facility near Reading UK, available for vocal recording, mixing and mastering.
Subversion Studios is the primary facility used by SC Mastering.

He also runs the internet music, politics and science forum Subvert Central, from which Subvert Central Mastering was spawned.
Ben and his SC Mastering engineering partner Bob Macc moderate the production and engineering forums at Subvert Central, keen to use the medium to help others improve their knowledge of the audio domain.

Bob Macc

Bob Macciochi has been recording and mixing for over 15 years. For several years Bob was engineer for Lost Witness, a commercial dance act releasing on the Ministry Of Sound label selling tens of thousands of records. Since then, Bob has seen his own music released regularly on vinyl, as well as him taking his live drum show all over Europe. He's also mixed and mastered electrosynthpoppunk(!) bands, Japanese pop songs, commercial and local bands, local bands, the odd jazz band and all manner of other things. A keen engineering geek with a passion for good sound and degree-level physics knowledge, he regularly helps out engineers and producers of all levels, to help them improve their own production.
