this not a negative discussion at all... i love a lot of amazing IDM, and after hearing a lot of new mixes (D-Bridge, ASC etc) it is sounding like just what i love in the IDM spectrum... great things, more awesome producers to add to a great sounds but focus more on drum and bass (as elements) which i think is so fkn perfect...

and these dudes that touch on the dubstep tempo... have a brilliant minimal teck quality to it...

love where music is going... respect

i like the clickery sounding funky that d-bridge did, datsick totes! tends to be taking a bit from idm sound design wise and utilising more rhythms, mostly a bit slower though, haven't heard much in terms of dnb in this way, and CAT numbers or labels you can shout out mr quick?

DnB/Breaks/Dubstep/UKG will never get old. Always evolving. Always interesting.

Hence why we're all still here.

THE END.

Yeah for real. I love those sounds that are coming out, and IDM (though I hate that tag) is the best category to fit it into. I don't know what you'd call it, but it's rad.

instra:mental rinse shows are the fucking business, if only because they play genius electro for half an hour beforehand

also there are some good recommendations in the drumstep thread - it's quite minimal and halftimey.
