yeah about 2000 i reckon.Melbourne Funk Collective wrote:It will be the first time I've ever set foot in the place. How many does it hold? Figured it must be big if Hilltop Hoods played there a ways back. We talking 2,000+ or is that too big.buuts wrote:woah nice one! this will indeed be huge. the metro is a massive venue.

My thoughts exactly. Could go either way, but i'm keen to take the chance.kronz wrote:COuld be mad if it is. I'm undecided on the whole live thing. I down with pendulum but the live thing could possible be a little too much like a rock concert. Then again it could be fucking amazingHardy wrote:Is this gonna be the Live Pendulum thingy?

Either way this is going to be one fucking crazy night.
Damn straight! I'm amped already! Been waiting so long for a dnb party at Metro. Has anybody been since they refurbished it? What's it like?kronz wrote:Hardy wrote:My thoughts exactly. fantasmagorical!!!
Oh, btw, if anyone is ever interested in the capacities of venues just check them here....
http://liquor.justice.vic.gov.au
keep in mind that the "legal" capacity is not always the total actual capacity, there are other factors appart from size that they take into account. Most venues squeeze more people in than they are meant to, some almost double
anyway.... the metro licence is here...
http://165.142.250.82/alarm_pdf/41961554.pdf
it says 1855 but I wouldn't be surprised if they regularly fit in 2500 or so.

Holy crap !!!
Apart from seeing Pendulum which is always full fo energy, I'm really looking forward to seeing Chase & Status. The mix sets that I have heard have been off the hook.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Wasp can do against Killa kella, Trip and Verse............. He'll be in some large company that night.
