"what do you get when you come against the Raptor"
Who is the artist and what is the track name?
I know it's 'someone' featuring 'someone' but that dosn't help on google.
have heard it on JJJ a few times but can't find it on Jplay.com.au
if you know this track, you'll know it...

well here it is..
It's a little rough around the edges.
it crackles a bit and is a bit um... warm (or muddy)
but it has it's charms..

I know we all think DnB is the mainroom music but if you want to get people accross to it, . gotta disagree, why not have know DJs from other styles in the side rooms and DrumnBass in the main room. people are more likly to check out the main room don't you think ? if what they came for is in the m...

hip hop fans are easy targets. most of my friends who like hip hop, get blown away by good dnb not interlectual racket. but big phat tracks also, most clubbers have a soft spot for dnb, you can see that any time a big name comes to town.. but the night has to be good. you can't just have 5 boring DJ...

So it seems people are keen to revive drumnBass I for one, think it's about winning new punters, rather than trying to re-kindle old souljahs So in the same way MelbourneBeats banded together for FIREAID is there that same passion, for DrumnBass? Are people interested in putting in there own time an...

You know your gear mate... For what it's worth, Rupert Neve was an original designer for Focusrite after he left Neve - that's how Focusrite started. So it's not really a Neve pre as such, but designed by Rupert Neve for Focusrite... yeah, I call it a Neve Pre because it's Rupert Neve Design. Just ...

but I have never heard a focusrite pre I liked.
even the ones in the Control 24 suck arse.
I like them on kick and snare, but anything with a bit of treble goes to shit.
the top end is so fast and scattered and crackly.

If you don't need converters, heaps of ins/outs and pre's etc you can get a wicked card for sub $500 IMO. Having said that... if you don't need all the bells and whistles, maybe some better monitors are in order before a soundcard upgrade. yeah it depends.. I'm of the mindset that you buy good gear...

Then you have the hip hop crew usually a little older and in uni, which aren't into the whole clubbing thing but more into bars and the like (St Jerome's). While these guys are more inclined to like dnb, chances are they couldn't deal with a whole night of it. I reakon this is where our potential c...

I thought Downward Spiral was one of the finest beginning to end musical experiences in history. By Fragile he seemed to let his breathing interfere with his singing way too much. . are you kidding ?
