Beats Working 3-Year Anniversary + Tsunami Relief Benefit
Saturday January 29th, 2005
Get set boys and girls for the biggest event of the new year. Yes, we’re talking about the 3-Year Anniversary of Melbourne’s own Beats Working. 2004 saw the BW ride go into full effect with a move to the lush surroundings of Brown Alley. More legroom, more visuals, more sound and more vibe have been the staple diet all year long and it only gets better.
Come celebrate with us as we highlight our third year together while also helping the victims of the Asian Tsunami Disaster. Yes, all door proceeds will be donated to World Vision to lend a helping hand to the people on the frontline of the massive clean-up and humanitarian effort. All DJ’s and MC’s on the night have donated their set fee’s and will be playing for free and the nice people at Brown Alley have waived the room hire so that the maximum amount of cash will be going to those that need it the most. Appearing throughout the evening will be the full residential line-up of Scotrod, Hans-DC, Obliveus, Direkt, Ben Stacey and Blueprint (Live).
Our Dedicated Breakbeat Shenanigans take place at Brown Alley (Corner of Lonsdale and King, City). Saturday January 29th, 10PM-6AM. Entry will be a flat $10, no guestlist as this is a benefit. Come show your support! For more information, go to: www.beatsworking.com.au
