i'm enjoying it - i like how they throw around Aesop Rock around a lot of the mix and chop it up with crooked near the end.

btw, whats that track near the end with the chorus-type lyrics of "we running wild like we restless and we jump til we breathless"?

^^^

I believe that track is called Restless by Evil Nine. Haven't heard it, but it could either be the original or the Drumattic Twins mix.

It's the Dylan Rhymes remix of Restless off the album sampler.

although i never really liked the smashing pumpkins, the remix of 1979 packages up everything i liked about that song.

artists who can do that are rare. (jacques lu cont is also really good at it.)

liking the mix. t/l?

That would be the False Prophet remix of 1979 (called 1799) doing the rounds.

Will be playing a set of that kinda stuff (including that track probably) tonite at Black Cat if anybody is keen.
