It just occured to me how much work in a multi storey building is just like an old skool platform game.

I you could cut one side off the building it would totally look like a platform gamer. For example

------------------------------

Your character moves from desk on level 3, then using south elevator goes to mailroom on level 4 to get blue package. You can't get blue package because you don't have the authorisation slip. Go to catch south elevator but due to building works you cant get to level 7. So you have to walk though desks on level 4 to get to north elevators to get to level 7, but to do this you have to fight your way past a colleagues desk without being given any extra work. Get to north elevator go to level 7, get authorisation slip, proceed back to level 4 and back past colleagues desk to mailroom. Use slip to get blue package. Take south elevator back to level 3 and open blue package which contains new data. Process data and print. Proceed to printer which means dodging watercooler conversation. Character fails to dodge watercooler conversation and loses 7 minute points (character has 450 mintue points in total, if you dont complete alloted tasks within time frame you get fired)..................... etc

---------------------

Only just occured to me.

You prob could make a game out of it, its just that it would be intensley dull.

EDIT >> also check out my post count - 6699 . SPOOOOKY

I have attrocities to commit every day for at least the next month.
And I'm booked out all week with genocide and writing R&B songs.

How about next full moon we get together and summon the 'old man?'

I got some witch friends who are right up for it.
It's been a while since we danced around a fire naked, and had an orgy while Dad looked on.
He knows plenty of dealers down in Hell, so he'll bring some wicked gear up for sure.

totally. it's a weird feeling when you come to the realisation that you're totally different to a person you thought you were so in tune with. it's also surprising to think that they were always like that but you managed (consciously or not) to see a different side to them.

people just grow apart in the end. for good or bad reasons. i'm a firm believer in the idea that people come into your life for a reason, teach you certain things you need to know about yourself, others and the world, then leave when you have learnt all you can from them. having that sort of philosophy make it easier to let things go i think.

so are mine, don't get me wrong, but it comes to a point where you can't keep putting in all the effort for a friendship. they require work, of course, but when you're giving more than you're prepared to then it's a recipe for disaster. better to let it go before you resent someone you used to respect.

my 2 cents anyhow.

Thats awesome witty. I am so on this wavelength at the moment.. It would be a lot easier if we knew in advance which people were here for a reason and which for a lifetime, I guess that is all part of the adventure tho
