for fucks sake.andycole23_steve wrote:good too see promoters are communicating
once again...
find out the fucking facts before blaming the promoters....
agent mad and elementz have discussed this at great length prior to announcing the shows.
we looked at merging the gigs but it couldn't be done.
agent mad isn't touring zinc. we've just bought a melbourne date - so we have taken what we have been given. we cannot change it.
before you all find more to bitch about - a heads up - sjooshi are saying they may have an act on the same date too. they haven't told us (agent mad) what it is but we know they're looking at something. we've told them we've got zinc on and to try to avoid it if they can but i don't know if they'll be able to shift it....
i'm so sick of pouring my heart out and working so damn hard to secure these acts and put on great shows for people to sit there and fucking bitch about our communication.
WE COMMUNICATE. SOMETIMES NOTHING CAN BE CHANGED THOUGH.
deal with it!
we have tried and tried and tried believe me.Will wrote:So there's no chance of combining the two?
I don't know the fiscal complexities, but I do know Zinc and Klute = banging night.
roger (elementz) was in the agent mad office about two weeks ago meeting on this and we have had A LOT of discussion about it since.
we all agreed it would be a great night too!....
but it's not lookin possible
you go Friday! yeh people are very quick to dismiss promoters, but no promoter likes to go head-to-head - these things aren't done to rob the punters. but at least you've got choice. i really can't say which i'm choosing, love em both, in fact they're probably two of my favourite DJs in D&B. on the same night. in the same city. fuck it, gonna have to be a big one.

Last time he was in Tokyo he said that he tries to read the crowd as best as possible (as a good DJ should) so therfore sometimes he takes it deep and dark and sometimes its abit more liquidish.Trailer_trash wrote:Klute was a bit dissapointing last time he was out....I wish his set was a bit more representative of his label/production sound but it was pretty much a party set....he is one of my favourite producers though & his new album is A1.
He tore Tokyo a new one, second best gig I saw this year

Thinking about it today and I definately don't want to miss Klute, espcially when i've never seen him before, but Zinc is off the hhok to so i'm definately hoping for a Jungle Bus, c'mon promoters, at least get the set times right so punters can see both!!!!
*chanting* Jungle Bus, Jungle Bus, Jungle bus!!!!
