Milkcrates + door as a desk is cool but how shit is it that 2 staked milkcrates up is too short and 3 is too tall. Bricks and planks looks like a good solution but appears dangerously unstable.

I've got one of each of these. Check out Ikea's bargain bit 'cos I got the bigger one for only $180. Only problem is that the damaged things come assembled, so you have to undo all the shit and get them into you chosen form of transport, which should probably not be the tram Steveo. :teef:

F**k me safire that's a massive amount of gear you've got there. I'd be completely paranoid about theft, insurance companies barely ever allow claims in share houses.

I'm at about 30 gig of refills... and barely use any now.

Unpack the sounds you want and fuck the rest off.

Yeah.. but you still gotta speak to tools.
So.. either keep the 002 and go in through adat, or loose tools. (assuming you use tools)
I use Pro Tools M-Powered and go in thru a firewire 18/14. It's really just a headphone amp for me. but it's less than half the price of a 002.

but great pres before great converters any day.

then you'll need a Pci or firewire expantion for the apogee.
Try the RME fireface, too.
not quite the same punch as an apogee, but about 10squillion times a 002 and a really solid Soft limit.
