Just wondering ??

Post by filta »

Hey MB crew how is ya...

Got a couple of questions :

1-Which side do you like your monitor ?(stereo being the perfect world)

2-Which ear for you headphone ?

I myself like my monitor on the left, and heads on the right ear.

Your thoughts....

Cheers N

If there's no stereo monitor set-up, then pref on the right (I have cans on left, open on right when I can)

Otherwise, master cue option FTW.

Hmm if by that you mean I'm left handed and need headphones on left? Interesting.

right handed....

headphone on left, but not totally covering my ear (maybe only 1/3 of the way on)...

monitor on the right (or stereo).

I hear better out of my left ear (years of playing bass in loud as fuck rock bands with loud as fuck drummers on my right), so I find cueing is more confortable in my left ear.

Right handed

Ideally headphone over left > Monitor thru the right

Depends on the rig and how much I have had to drink for some reason????????????

I just prefer whatever I have at home at that particular time.

Which depends on how the room is arranged etc...

Takes me about 2 weeks to switch I reckon.

hehe - you must of been on the hihat side of the drums like me. I still prefer to miz with monitor on left and head phone on right. maybe its a hangover form recording like that in bands.
