Got my ticket a while ago. If this is anything like Meredith, which im sure it will be, this is going to be another one of my greatest music festivals. I think im still recovering from Meredith though!

One of the best line-ups I have seen for a long time!

Already organised to go to womad that weekend but if we weren't, golden plains would be a certainty.

this is going to be dope! am off to playground weekender this weekend which has pretty much the same lineup. Look out for our first video contribution on straightup.com.au in the next week or two. It will be an interview by Huwston with Dudley Perkins & Georgia Anne Muldrow.

I'm going.

Despite all the frivolity happening in town this weekend I'm sure out amongst the trees will be where the party's at.

Cheap tix on ebay - my mate just got one for $90! (rrp 170 fark!)

I could of happenned anywhere and doesn't take away from the amazing concept of Meredith/ Golden Plains. At least there were no stabbings or brawls. That is wack.

They were good but not special. Dunno if you got my text. Sounds like you were raving large...

Not sure which was which but basically one couldn't mix for shit. The other was pretty good. They played some nice filthy tech/electro but also a few shockers. The set didn't flow very well and they didn't seem to give a shit.

In general they were a bit cool-for-school, taking turns sitting down back of stage smoking and drinking. I've got CD's that work harder.

I know you were frothing to see them, but really don't think you missed out much. I think their set would have been much better received in a club setting, and wonder how the FMF after party gig went...

Nah I don't think I got a text.. or maybe I did, read it and deleted it.. but don't remember.. :? possible.

Ah well I guess I'm glad I didn't go and see em at the POW then.
I had fun dancing up on the meredith stage next to thayer drinking all his rider lol.
