Anybody who missed this party because they were disappointed by last years set... prepare to be disappointed again.

Two hours of fucking nasty bizness from Ed Rush & Optical.

Awesome, totally awesome. Haven't heard tunes like those in years.

Only gripes were: sound was too loud. Got the same ringing in my ears I had after Andy C.

Great party. Good to see some better lighting in there.
Sound: The were once again some extemely piercing highs causing me to cover my ears on many occasions.

One major problem with the night, I've said it before and I will say it again:
MC Tray is fucking terrible. Seeing Tray on a lineup is enough to deter me from going to an event (many of my friends are going along the same lines)

Who was the MC that got up at the end. He was a refreshing change from Tray. I felt like shooting myself in the head after listening to Tray for 2.5 hours saying exactly the same thing.............

Roll on Bukem. No MC TRay, Fukn yay!

Fair enough. Everyone can have an opinion. I haven't heard Tray in a while, so I can't say.

But I've heard some shocking MCs in my time and I've never let it kill the party for me. I just tune it out.

Respect to everyone who came down and raved last night, what a blinder of a set by Ed Rush and Optical, and I must say its a pity Valuetime will be leaving our shores shortly. Brilliant set last night man, and Joe had the tunes as usual.
It was a great crowd, and as usual they made the night.

Decided to go out on a whim, had been drinking all day with danny, caught the train in and headed straight for the bar.

VT straight up rockin it, altho i thought u needed some bigger party tunes mate, the crowd was well up for it just needed to slam it down their throats.

Joe brang the darkness, played some sick tunes.

Ed n Op killed it. Heaps diff to what they played here last, def back on the old virus sound.

Keir smashed it at the end.

Biggups Josh, Mecka, Nam, Locki, Danny, Keir and Rainer. Seriously that list of names are the ONLY people i knew there on the night. Was fresh faces all roubd, i must be getting old.

Good to see everyone who posted in the i love DnB thread there supporting :teef:

I thought the sound was a magical improvement on Andy C... although I do have ringing today.. but that may be attributed to standing close to the speakerzzzz! It was suffocatingly hot as usual... and the bar ran out of JD! Aside from that, the crowd was in a real party mode when we walked in at 12.15! (I'm a bit confused who the DJ was before Joe? <insert name here>)... is that valuetime? I couldn't pick the face.... anyway, whoever... OMG!!!!! Some smashing big tunes & mixing (in my 'expert' opinion).. drew the crowd in and ready for Joe's set! By the time Joe came on, the crowd was well and truely in party mode, everyone was smiling, chatting and having a ball from what I could see! And there is nothing more appealing than sharing sweat with a room full of strangers  (not really).
Yeah that arabic toon is farking amazing... such a lead up and then..... BAM! Crowd goes mad, all mistakes are forgotten!
Tray MC, Ok, I thought he was ok, but then I wanted to pull the plug, so I get where the complaints are coming from now "When I say optical you say optical" response 'shutthef*ckupplease'.
Danielson... he was up next yeah?? Cos you critics bagged him, he had a t-shirt on and no singlet (damn you critics, there goes the perve part) :?
Lighting, well it improved, the venue was well lit, the dj booth well lit, now lets try for lazers and smoke machine & a bit of cammo netting just to omplete the scene!
Crowd - what was left, were a little smiffed with the night ending so soon, but yeah a few left straight after ER/O, which is a bit sad, cos the final DJ set (Keir?) was pretty good & it wasn't time to go home!
The most manliest hippie dance was on again on da dancefloor which is almost always fun to watch!
Got ass dragged to platform 1 before recovery @ Word Bar... that place is damn cosy!
Oh Yeah... scored my souveneer ticket with the errors! choice!
