see if this works for ya. it's rad.
http://www.vuze.com/download/UXGIRXKYAV ... JK.torrent
1000 Races were recorded and displayed simultaneously for this unique and absolutely stunning video.
This video was created using the video game Trackmania Sunrise.
First Released in March 2006, it was made famous in September 2006 when the video was shown at GameTrailers.com where it reached, in spite of the poor quality of the flash format, over 1.5 million views.
Now, thanks to the power of Azureus and Zudeo (little advertising ), you can download the full quality film in seconds.
Enjoy

The "Additionnal Info" tab doesn't seems to work yet so here are more details about this video.
Directed by : BlackShark (yes that's me)
Track designed by : Amraphendt & BlackShark
Replays by : BlackShark (920) Amraphendt (80)
Skins (Car painting) by : Nadeo (Game developper) & Tom Fuel
Mediatracking (Camera management) Rendering and Editing by : BlackShark
Rendering Machine : AMD Athlon XP2000+ - 1GB RAM - nvidia 6600 GT 128MB
It took me about 6 month to complete it (though i didn't spend all my free time on the project). But the hardest part wasn't driving, grabbing the video out of the game was more of a challenge : fortunately, Nadeo (the game developper) provided all players a special feature which allowed me to shoot the video at constant framerate rather than realtime.
With this tool, i was able to push the graphics to the maximum (except shadows).
Rendering took 4 whole days to complete (24h a day), i couldn't push my old computer any furether.
It took me a week to find the right soundtrack but then the editing was quite quick : i made it in one day.
This video i quite precious for me since i lost all the original files in a tragic hard drive magnet erasing accident.

I know, it going to be the best game. Comes out on the 29th of June in Aus I'm pretty sure. I might pre-order it now.
There is a video of just in-game graphics that was posted on xbox.com.au http://www.xbox.com/en-AU/games/viewer. ... 2&shotId=0
Looks tres impressive.
With Forza 2 also in June then PG4 and Sega Rally Revo later in the year... 07' is going to be the year of the racing game.
Might have to get the 360 wheel, its sposed to be pretty damn good.

I'm not sold on either pgr4 or sega rally yet.. but yeah the wheel looks like a good idea.saintberry wrote:I know, it going to be the best game. Comes out on the 29th of June in Aus I'm pretty sure. I might pre-order it now.

Hmmm.. was just playing it. Am pretty dissapointed really.. those crashes in that trailer aren't even in the game. If you fly off the sidesaintberry wrote:Oh oh oh.... oh!

Dirt demo up on Xbox Live! On the download now!
EDIT: 800mb! oh oh oh, I so hope the Canberra track is on the demo!
of the track there isn't a crash, the screen just goes black and puts you back on the track straight away.
Our current art technical director is from the UK and he worked on the last game.
He said all those crashes are faked
Red Mile Acquires Game Rights For Sin City
Red Mile Acquires Game Rights For Sin City Representatives from publisher Red Mile Entertainment (Heroes of the Pacific, Gripshift) have announced the signing of a multi-year, worldwide license agreement to develop and to publish games based on Frank Miller's popular Sin City graphic novels.
No financial terms were disclosed, and no details concerning any upcoming projects have yet been announced. However, Miller seems confident in the studio's portrayal of his works, commenting in an official statement that “the Red Mile team has impressed me with its dedication to creating Sin City video games that will remain true to Sin City as I've always seen it."
Set in the gritty, rain drenched borough of Basin City, Frank Miller's Sin City stories focus on a series of intermingling tales oftentimes featuring reoccurring characters caught up in a violent overarching plot.
Told in a film noir-like style, the stories first appeared in comic form in the early 90s, and eventually were adapted as a highly stylized feature film in 2005, which was co-directed by Miller along with Robert Rodriguez (Grindhouse).
"Sin City enjoys a broad and devoted following. Its crime noir settings, richly detailed characters, hyper-real action sequences, and engaging stories provide an outstanding groundwork for video games," said Chester Aldridge, CEO of Red Mile Entertainment. "Red Mile is enthusiastic about working with Frank Miller to create a franchise that is worthy of this great property."

In one word... RAD!Stray wrote:Yeah, let me know what you think. I haven't really given it much of a play yet. Might have another go at lunch.
The crashes work for me. Just don't go way off the track. Try crashing into a light pole that is on the side of the track and you will see what I mean. I got some pretty serious damage windscreen popped out etc.
My guess is that crashes will work, but only in the replay (like in 2005). Which is a good thing in my eyes - this isn't burnout after all. It would suck in multilayer if you had massive crash sequences. It worked well in 2005 having the car reset IMO.
Anyway, I only had time for 2 goes at the track. Got an assignment due in @ 5pm. Will play it some more tonight.
Graphics are very impressive.

Hmm true, now you mention it that was a problem with 2005. I'm pretty sure they had an option to turn that off - can't remember. I rember it being good for multiplayer though, so you can ram people .Stray wrote:I don't really like the way they do the car reset. Is too quick.
I was playing that track with the buggies and went flying off the track while I was in first place. It quickly reset me and I was still in front.
Hopefully they have and option to turn it off in the retail version of Dirt.
I was pretty impressed by the menus too. Not really important but they were slick. Always are in codemasters games.
