Besides as previously discussed how do you prove sexuality at the door, it's suggestive as to a particular stereo-type for the gay community. What is a gay person spose to look like? How do they act? Is there some ID card the straight population don't know about? Surely this would "ruffle" the gay communities "feathers" that you can even tell who a homosexual is on appearance.

It is not an outright ban on Hetro's but I have to say I agree with the limitations on hetro's being allowed in..
I am very much apart of the gay scene, have been for going onto 15 years now. My father used to share a flat with gay men, my folkes were introduced by gay men.... I have grown up around the scens, and have pretty much most of my closest friends are gay, lesbian and trannies...
I used to go out with them more (clubbing) but in the last 3 or so years stopped as, in most gay clubs now, it is more like gay friendly, and the places are swarming with hetro's going there to 'look at the freaks in their natural environment' type scenario, and it made me angry so I now stay away....
Bucks parties and Hens nights have NO PLACE at a gay bar, Gays are NOT allowed to marry by law so why the hell should they be made to watch drunk stupid idiots celebrate their impending nuptuals???
The Peel was actually really open to the hetro's that go there not to look and get an eyefull of 'those' people, I never had issues.
There are men only sex on site places, like the Laird etc, and also men only dance events that not even trannies can go to.... But i believe that there are enought places that hetro's can drink at that they do not need to invade all the gay bars.... There are unfortunatley far less venues across the city that gays can comfortablly go to..... Leave them have some places to themselves.....

hens nights were a weekly occurance, VERY unpleasant things to wittness, and even worse to have to wait on.
