sneaker cleaner from footlocker is the best ting i've used so far... Gal spends arvo cleaning all her kicks (takes about 2or3 hours) kinda like meditating for me.... Makes me feel centred and happy being surrounded by all my kicks looking sparkly and hot again

LOL i'm a deck

Maybe do a trial run on a cheaper pair you want to guage their service before forking over buckets of bucks.

Good luck Drew, let me know how it flies

i'd say at a guess all the air max 90's are fake on that site. I dont know heaps about shoes but i dont think i've seen any of those colours before. Plus how can they be so cheap.

make sure on the site they say they're 100% authentic nike or adidas. Sites will try and trick you and say 100% blah blah etc etc but if it says 100% authentic you should be rite. Easy to pick fakes... But ya know if ya don't care and just like them and they're cheap fuck it buy them.

The thing with fakes, there's usually 7 minor differences. Spherix has a fake and a real pair of same shoe. Differences are minor, but the quality of fakes is nowhere as good as the real ones. To the untrained sneaker freaker eye, hard to spot the difference unless u have the real and fake side by side. But yeah quality is crap, but good for the price you pay i guess. If you're not a collector doesn't matter i guess. meh

Fuck that site, all those shoes would be definitely fake. As said above the differences are only minor but I couldn't wear them just knowing they were fake no matter how good they looked...

We saw a lot of fakes when we were looking at sneakers in VN. There was an immediate difference in quality once you got your eye in .... things like messy stitching, messy glue were quick giveaways but sometimes we weren't entirely sure.

I bought my Puma sneakers there from a woman who only had a collection of shoes in different styles but limited sizes, so I could only choose amongst the shoes she had in my size whatever style they were. Given the limited range I was pretty sure they were "off the back of the truck" on the way out of the factory, and they looked MUCH better than the obvious fakes. They've worn perfectly and I've got my $50 and more worth out of them.

Yea like all of the brand name bags in Hanoi by the water puppet theatre.
The quality is excellent and most are out the back door of the factory for sure. Kathmandu for instance gets all of their bags made in Vietnam.

How about cleaning suede sneakers? Any tips on the best product to use?

I got clay soil on my cream Gravis when I went to do field work in Gippsland. OOPS.

as long as they say 100% authentic nike you'll be fine, also see how long they've been trading on ebay... common sense really!!

I've bought many an item on Ebay touted as 100% genuine and turns out to be fake. It just means the seller is willing to get negative feedback.

Shoes are hard to determine. Someone once told me to check the model number and other ID numbers on the box. Ask the seller to email them to you and try checking them against official websites.
