Cheap Broadband??
ok so we've had an account with telstra for years... currently paying 30 per month for 200mb,
i wanna go unlimited usage and they try charging $60 per month wtf???!
there must be a cheaper way... would be great if i didn't have to pay too much in connection fees for another company either
help much appreciated?!

$60 is hella cheap man lol.
if you are in an ADSL2+ area then TPG have a 150gig a month for $70 which is outrageously good.

(avoid iinet's support lines though.)
I've had only the best experience with iiNet tech support. They sent SMS
updates to me when I first had connection problems with my line to
keep me up to speed. I have always found their support staff friendly,
human and helpful.
In fact I've dealt with a lot of ISP support dudes over the years and have
found iiNet to be the best IMO (also I work on a help desk so that's gotta
count for something! )
Had bad experiences?

but - they had me offline at home over a weekend for nearly three days last year because a support engineer misconfigured one of the upstream routers and radius servers. i've had problems with them at work too (we use them for redundant connectivity in some locations), but that was using adsl1.
