huge: Progression Session Vol.2... which one is that, which cover?
I must admit the one with the blue-tinged cover was my introduction to Bukem and d'n'b (thanks JJJ), and have never looked back since - awesome album, the Seba and Rantoul tracks on there RULE! But Bukem's Journey Inwards I listened to for hours-on-end, so deep, so beautiful.... strange time of my life as well - I guess that's usually when meaningful albums pop up.
Mixie - glad to be of help!
he meant the blame mix, with drs on the mic.system wrote:
(i think, anyway, as there ain't no rantoul on ps1/2 or lp1/2. )[/quote]
Nah the one I'm talking about (with the Rantoul and Seba) is the Bukem/Conrad Prog Session with the blue-tinged cover....

this is hard but I shall give it a shot, in order of when experienced
- tie between – Stevie Wonder and Hot Chocolate. No idea what albums they are, but I listened to them over and over as a kid.
- Salt n Pepa – Hot, Cool & Vicious
- Guns n Roses - Use your illusion
- Triple J Hottest 100 (1997)
- Billie Holiday – The best of
hmmm I got to a certain point in my teenage years there. That’ll do. It formed the rest

Music didn't change my life really, my tastes when I was a kid where more memorable than anything in my teenage / young man years.
When I was real young I used to love anything Beach Boys, anything at all. Still don't mind it. Mad harmony. Eagles as well.
The first tape I pwnd was the Batman soundtrack by Prince, best tape. Sample driven synthy bouncy singalong pop.
(BATDANCE! - DO IT !) anyone?
Prob around 13 I decided Prince was too 'gay' and got into Bodycount via a stolen tape from an older mate, farken loved it.
That led to my first CD Ice T - Home invasion lol, then Snoop Dogg and later on The Fugees
First real 'techno' music I really liked was Sasha and Digweed - Communicate
