Calibre killed it. Wicked, wicked tunes mixed well. So, so deep. Not a bad tune in the whole set. Much heavier than I thought it would be. Awesome. I hardly left the 'floor for two-and-a-half hours.

DRS exceeded high expectations. Officially now my favourite MC. Not only hyped everyone up and complemented the music but added a whole new musical dimension.

Mark Pritchard and Steve Spacek were good too. Some heavy tunes in there and biggups for playing Babylon. Hurt me.

Biggups ESC for putting on yet another superb night. Killing it. Looking forward to the G man.
farken :scr1pt:

hands down the best night i've had this year. haven't danced so much in yonks.

just what the doctor ordered.

thank you thank you thank you ESC. :notworthy:

maybe the shakelton rmx of a ricardo vilalobos tune, or the other way round.

was an awsome night, mark pritchard killed it, steve spacek was awsome.
calibre was good, and drs was one of the best mc's for drum and bass i have ever seen.
big up the dudes who got real excited about the wobble flyer i gave em, big up the wasted dude who chatted shit to me when i gave him a wobble flyer for to long.
had sick night, highlight was every one singing joe happy birthday

oh yeah. someone who knows that chick (same one that was getting down to the bra at Klute) needs to tell her to stop getting so fucking trashed.

she litterally headbutted my elbow as i was sticking it out so she would stop running into me and she didnt notice a thing.

she ruined my night several times. looked like ollie was gunna bash her at one point lol.

needs to be on a leash.

So totally agree with you Hugh. She literally grabbed me by the shoulder at one point and pushed me out of her way like she fucking owned me. I was about to start a good old fashioned bar fight with her but my girls held me back. I don't dig on bad manners, and she really put a bad vibe out to anyone who encountered her. Bad form sweetheart, bad form.

Aside from that, I had a good time. Didn't dig Pritchard so much, and Spacek wasn't all I'd thought he'd be, but once Cam and I heard the first few bars of Original Nuttah we bolted from outside to the back room for a hardcore boogie. Very hot in there compared to outside, lots of ass action as Sonus mentioned but you get that on the big jobs.

Calibre: delightfully delicious. Great tunage and a wicked mixer. Big ups ESC for bringing him out here. Special thanks to Dust, you're a true lady

Had a fabulous time chatting to peeps... that was probably my highlight!! Could not handle earlier sets and was too ill to stick around for Calibre and DRS - and there was no dance space, agreed Miss L too small unfortunately.

Great to hear it was a good night ... shattered now not to stick around for DRS  fukkity fuck!

We didn't make it in the end..... :(

Too much for the belly, i was grumble, rumble city, so being all old and sensible these days i was careful and decided against going...

Sonus - Miss Libs is great, i would rather they keep putting events on there, i am more likey to go. I am not a fan od Hi-Fi adn the like, crap vibes, too $$$ and yeah Miss Libs all the way!

Nice Steve

Seeing Steve Boemo (1lc) for the first time in 4 or so years blew my fucking mind a little bit. As we're chatting and catching up, I see Vin Neptune walk in. Then Trooper, then Rol'n, then Motive! It was a friggin' Soulaar reunion in the making  . Wicked to see those boys all together again :D

yeah, that sounds like it could be the bug feat. flowdan - skeng. loefah did a huge remix of the bug feat. flowdan - jah war, but don't think he's done skeng yet.

you were thinking of shackleton - blood on my hands (ricardo villalobos mix). epic tune no doubt (the original is also incredible), but not it. :) that one is 'when i see the towers fall, it cannot be denied/that the spectacle exists as a realisation of the mind/etc'.

Post by shabana »

just wanted to report
del thought melburn was best gig so far
he said most people don't believe him when he says that
but he really enjoyed the gig

and i thought it was cool to experience soul vocals on top of dubstep
an unusual combo i didnt expect to see
but it worked for me..

I had a ball!! Thanks so much to everyone who made it down and all the support i had from friends when i was strobing about there not being enough people there at 12

It filled up in the end. I thought both main sets were amazing!! Loved Mark's set and thought Calibre killed it as usual and as has been said before, DRS is a brilliant MC.

I also have to mention that Joe killed it. Wicked birthday set, even after a spiking.

Sorry to those who think Miss L's is too small, we love it as a venue for d'n'b and did try to accommodate those who didn't want to be in a packed main room by funneling the music through to the front bar and even had projectors on the wall in the front bar so peeps could see what was going on on stage.

yeah that started as an accident, then decided to roll with it coz it gave a bit more chill room vibe without the vocals out front.

Suggestion noted for next time tho.

I think Miss Libs is fine venue if the music is played out the front. Was a bit frustrating at Klute because (while the tunes out the front were cool), Klute was a wee bit too packed to stay in the back room the whole time. It's also cool as you can speak to people and chill and still hear rad tunes.

Just my 2 cents!
