Zach ain't whiney dude. And Rage ain't try hards.

So the only comparisson you're drawing on is the "politically charged" bit.... c'mon BS, you can do better than that mate

Just rang Festie Hall - and for what it's worth, I've been told Rage hit the stage at "around 9pm"... which probably means 9.30pm.

they always do it a festival hall. they're called 'promoter holds' that the promoter is required to set aside in leiu of guestlist submission.

I couldn't see any... granted there was a new section "Side View" - but there was nothing available that I could see.

nah it's not that bad. i know the seats. your're basically on the raised level, almost parallel to the stage. there's nothing blocking the view - it's just side on rather than front on...

Rage  fricken awesome and then some!!! I couldn't handle the heat in the middle so i moved over to the side and got heaps of space to rock out and watch the man in action. Best view!

wish i had my camera, there was a moment where security were pulling a guy out of the mosh pit, Zack was tearing it up at the front and there was a family sitting at the side of the stage and the little kid was covering his ears, gold.

expensive sauna though lol

Finally, I have seen the mighty RATM juggernaught in the flesh!

Zach was fucking awesome - seemed to be really enjoying himself up there. As was Morello.

Timmy C, whilst a little reserved perhaps, was tight as fuck - the definite rhythym backbone of funk.

Brad Wilk - all over the shop at times... well, all over the shop for a band of Rage's calibre, and also from what I've seen of him on DVD's (and heard on live recordings).
His timing was out at times, and I'm not overly sure if some of the time changes/tempo changes between verse to chorus were deliberate - or the result of excitement...

Regardless... wicked, wicked gig. Sweat fest 2000 though - I think I ended up with more people's sweat on me than my own sweat - t-shirts off brigade were definately in effect (and no, I wasn't part of that posse, I was their towel).

Bigups to Rage - and bigups to MB.C crew inside!

Please o' please do another album now - and then tour it! :D

Fucking Dope!!!!

What a night, fucking went off, so glad i got the oppertunity to go.

Funniest thing of the night was standing next to a partner from my firm watching him sing the lyrics and nodding his head. Who ever said you cant reach the top of the corporate ladder and still be able to party?

Rocking out at workshop after was not good for getting to work on time. 10:15 is not a good time to rock into the office with a hangover but arh FUCK IT!

I must say a special Big Ups to Witty for the ticket.

That was insane!!
I've never sweated my ass off around smelly people like that and still had so much fun before.
Shouts to the people dancing on the roof next to the balcony and the hippy in front of me, who didn't understand the irony every time he lifted his Pepsi cup to salute Zach's Globalisation comments. ha!
Good to see you Glenn BRB.
After witnessing countless dodgy cover bands in the nineties finish their night with "Killing in the name" it was awesome to see the originators do it properly!

what a fucking gig that was! i think i lost half my body weight in sweat and then regained it with beer and dodgy burger after (which rendered me incapacitated yesterday with head in the can. blugh.)

they didn't play a couple of tunes i want to hear, like know your enemy, but they saw that at BDO, so i was lucky enough to get the balance.

The atmosphere in there was fucking electric. I think the heat added to in some grimey sort of way.

mental. want to do it all again.

what a mental fucking gig

they were on fire. zach was having an absolute BALL up there

tom morello is a freak of nature- wtf was he doing to his guitar to get that violin type sound for the intro to justify?? amazing amazing amazing

can't believe we got so close! were only about 15 feet back from the stage right in the thick of it. got headbutted during the first song but the offending fella was very apologetic. got a mad egg on head. hurts when i brush my hair. lol

mad old skool fun. pissed up, jumping about like loons, hotties with shirts of and inked up backs and arms everywhere. we gave away so many virtual dollars i zero'ed my account!

the heat. the sweat! fark me- i was saturated. BrB wrung about a litre out of his t at the end. good times good times

massive BU to panik for tix. massive BU to the pre and post gig crew. i had a sickie yesterday to recover. needed more hydraulics in legs

arggggghhhh! can go to grave sated

rage against the fucking machine indeed
