actually when i was about 10 years old or something i wanted to change to Melbourne. Bad idea. My mum turned on her heel and came right up close and said 'you think so do you'.
From experience - those who win footy tipping comps don't necessarily know a lot about footy Charlie... fear not.
If you want advice, the Friday Herald Sun sports section has a page dedicated to tipping... I'd put more faith in those "experts" than any one person on here...
ah okies,, will have to start getting the paper then, i would love to win, cause i am a football (soccer) fan it would burn arses in here if i did well
PS: if it's through www.footytips.com.au - which the Melbourne Beats comp is, you only have to place tips once - and it enters them into all of your comps.

true
I think if you read the footy articles in the paper every day, you get a feeling of whats happening at the clubs, this is SO important to be able to pick a winner as a club may have an awesome side on paper, they may be in the top 4 on the ladder etc but off field conflicts, sickness, distractions etc all effect player and team performance.
I'd reckon Carlton will go into the game favourites with or without the Fev, however as a RFC supporter I'd much rather play the Blues without Fevola on the field.
so what is the issue with the Tigers, is it $$$ or coaching issues?
Yeah I have a theory that Chris Judd said he missed home and that is why he was leaving West Coast, but was it actualy the culture at that club he didn't want to be around?

Not really $$$ - although it was a few years back, the Tigers almost went belly up in the late 80's.
Just a long, long drought since the club has tasted any real success. Most likely due to the coaching department and general administration in (recruiting etc).

look at me talking football
I reckon you could be right - it definately would have factored into the situation you'd think.

And he's playing, alongside the recently-returned-from-injury Nick Stevens and their handful of top draft picks over the past few years....
Danger for Tigers... but then again, every game is danger for the Tigers
Or.....
as he is currently being referred to as:
The Juddanaut
Juddalenko
Judd Do IT
Judd Dredd
It's on this week Spiesy!
and I don't think Fevolator will get a week off - not in the first week, although given that Richmond aren't really going to put up that much of a fight, maybe they will rest him to teach him a lesson.
thats funny Scotty, i never knew you were a Blues supporter....but then again, why would anyone have let me know that in the past.. what? 6 -7 years or so while Carlton have been cellar dwellars. Its funny how they come out of the woodwork.
Don't forget to get your tips in today, before 6pm... those who haven't signed up or activated their account should still be able to do so today (just check the link up above)...
GO TIGERS!
