Post by Hardy »

Seriously, i need that fucking cat. I will pay a reward of 100 gold pieces to anyone who can deliver the cat to me alive (corn eating skills must be proven before reward will be paid).

That cat is the single greatest thing in history. Sliced bread, pre-natal surgery, and the theory of relativity are all completely shit by comparison. It eats the corn right of the fecking cob!

i lol'd when i saw it because that is what one if my cats does! mojo is obsessed with corn. strips it bare.

when you bring home bags of shopping he can immediately smell which one has corn in it and rips into it. when you're cooking corn he goes beserk at the smell of it.

i now buy three cobs when i go to the market - one for me, one for joe and one for mojo the cat.

his twin brother doesn't care for them at all though... weird.

lol it worried me at first. thought it may be some weird thing that animals aren't meant to eat, like chocolate or onions or grapes.

googled it to make sure it wouldn't make him sick and it came up with hundreds of results of other people saying their cat loves corn and funny youtube videos of them eating it.

seems like it's something quite a few cats are into...

i wouldn't worry about animated gifs. if you're genuinely concerned about bandwidth, don't visit the age in particular (that was making up 65% of one large company's bandwidth usage), and especially don't send html email and word documents around. seriously, it's the least of your worries.

im not worried about bandwidth per se - the age isnt a site work would block ... but i figured if there was a bunch of animated gifs, meaning more activitiy via a site, that it might flag them to look into it - and ban it cos its a forum. the cat took ages to load - presming that might be because of the server rather than the size?

sonuds like i could be totally wrong though...?

an animated gif is just one file: work won't notice the difference between it and any other image. it's larger than most but really not that big at all.

ok. so i finally taped mojo eating corn.

it's a really dark video sadly :(

but here you go anyway:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VfESwUJ96g

watch with sound up. very very funny sounds he makes.

his brother sputnik enters at about 30something seconds in, he must protect his corn at any cost.

i also taped his brother sputnik cleaning his favourite toy. he does this constantly. all his toys are very very clean. before mojo interrupts him and takes the spotlight anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_Kqtcg4NdA

finally sputnik in the bath. he picks up his toys and drops them in the bath and knocks them around so they fly up the sides etc.

Lucie you are the BOMB! You got the corn crunching sounds and all!

The other videos were ace too, I laffed when Mojo snouted the camera then crashed the toy-licking. Thanks for sharing your kitties!
