Ransom's going to NYC
Ransom's going to NYC
Those that pay attention to goings on at The Late Show may already know that our sly captain Phil Ransom will shortly be jetting off to NYC for a few months of rooftop disco parties and related hijinx. Before he leaves there's a few things happening that you might like to check out.
I know some of you are old enough to remember when The Late Show was just Ransom playing 5 hours every Saturday night in the bandroom. This Saturday 19th April we're proud to be taking it back to those heady days with a very special 5 hour frontroom set from Ransom after Obese's man of the moment Chasm launches his new album. From 2am or thereabouts until 7am Ransom will be at the controls, presenting a one-off retrospective set which he's been carefully peeling out of the crates for weeks now. It will be his last appearance in the bandroom for a while so get down (and get down).
Hot tip for the DJs out there - he's trimmed a couple of crates (8 apparently) out of his collection before it goes into storage and they're at HearNow in town. There's mid 90's breaks, drum and bass, wikid garij, all sorts of stuff - so get down to HearNow and ask to see the treasure!
Remember when The Late Show looked like this?

Next Saturday 26th April we've got Parisian disco edit king Pilooski playing an exclusive Melbourne show. Its Ransom's last week here before he goes and is set to be one hell of a going away party.
