Bug needs to learn how to mix his own tunes..what was the deal with that?? Apart from that the tunes were pure fire!

She is very tight... think the whole nature of her dancehall style performance gets a bit lost in the context. great to hear her do killer and poision dart blew the place up

mixing was pretty much on point stylistically, pretty standard set for a dancehall set with a live vocal (not toasting).
thoroughly dug the dj half of the gig
killer fucking tore the house down at the end.
sound was good

tempo's are all over the place which was half the point for me, mixing would only be for the sake of it, and detract from the whole vibe I think.

that was a very very refreshing night, content and delivery. Locals had some great fun tunes too. I'm glad we bailed rainbow early to get to it. Some effects use was blatantly over the top, but I still enjoyed it even if it was taking the piss. and Warrior Queen was equally manic, they make a great team.

was alright.

effects kinda killed it for me, to many high frequencies and cutting out bass on drops.

was expecting more, i knew he didnt mix but yeah.. thought i would have liked it more than i did.

warrior queen kinda killed it for me at points, bit to full on, but i am sure some people would have
been into it.

Loved it, found it to be really refreshing to experience something totally different to the normal approach. I liked the effects, sometimes a little heavy on the reverb, but I still liked it. All the mad noise shit was wicked, but I'm bloody glad I had my earplugs, otherwise I wouldn't have handled it very well. Thought Warrior Queen was cool, nice to see some theatrics on stage....wasn't expecting it which made it even cooler. Was good how it was like 2 totally different shows in one.

All in all a fucking sick night, props to everyone who made this night happen.

Was there any? a strobe perhaps? didn't really notice anything different. Possible to get rid of those spot lights that just shine right into your eyes. rather the place be dark then have those things on..

That fu*king rocked the shit farm innit,
noticed a few people falling apart and running for the door due to overwelming audio sensations..
Good stuff, good to hear a 'pussy' talk also, nice!

Sorry, that was my fault  . Had instructions from The bug (agent) on how he wanted lights to be set up and operated.

lol yeah well it matched the audio onslaught i guess

i very rarely think ear bleeding levels are a good idea, but i guess its what i expected and it's the bugs aesthetic (if you go back pre 'dubstep' days noise is the order of the day) - with ear protection it was a blast!

ive described it as like the sound of a soundclash put through a massive system and recorded live on a shitty mic - sirens, excess reverb, bass weight and multi level distortion - repackaged into a production style. as a performance, i loved the way he doesn't match any real expectation according to a genre - dancehall, noise, dub, dubstep...

and despite arsing about with one cdj under the decks (hence constantly dissapearing from view) and some last minute changes to my set with sista itations it was great fun playing, too, got the swing of it as the slot wore on.

i thought it was heavy as per. constantly cutting the bass wasn't necessarily the way forward but not mixing + ludicrous effects is his style and it comes off really well i reckon. warrior was pretty good too. two nutcases, perfect for each other. second flippo on the 4.5 rasclaartles.

Fun night!

Saw some dude get pretty forcefully ejected by the bouncers for smokin a J. Thought that was kinda excessive, they basically treated him like he had been molesting people on the dancefloor. Ahh, gotta love testosterone I guess :tard:
